Lush Golden Wonder

Golden Wonder is a bath bomb that was released for the Lush Christmas collection. Shaped like a Christmas present, this doesn't look like you average bath bomb and is a lovely gold color. This is definitely a bath bomb to make you feel all festive.

This is a really awesome bath bomb and as soon as you drop it in the water it begins to unwrap itself. This one gives this amazing color show and at first, you get this white and yellow froth appearing before bringing out this fantastic colored turquoise. Then to finish off, these gold stars spread out throughout the water. Once dissolved it leaves the water this really nice turquoise color.

The citrus scent in it is really uplifting too, especially in these cold winter months.

I think this is one amazing bath bomb and is quite a big one. I would say a bit bigger than Lush's regular bath bombs. Unfortunately this one is limited edition and is no longer available.

Lush Star Dust

Star Dust is a bath bomb from this year's Lush Christmas collection. Shaped like a star, it doesnt look like your usual bath bomb. Although in the photo there is some gold on it, it isn't supposed to have gold on it. This is just because it was next to Golden Wonder.

As soon as it drops into the water it fizzes quite fast and gives out a white foam. This one is one of Lush's faster working bath bombs and not long after, blue started to appear. Just before it fizzed out it gave out a load of colored stars in the water, how cool is that. Once dissolved it changed the water this foggy ice blue color.

Just by looking at this bath bomb you wouldn't expect it to change the water a different color or have any special effects.

It's definitely a nice relaxing one, especially after being out in the cold. The scent in this one is more like vanilla, which smells awesome.

Lush Dashing Santa

Dashing Santa is one of Lush's Christmas bath bombs. It's unlike other bath bombs as it is shaped just like Santa. I really like the design as it looks really nice and festive. It contains bergamot oil, mandarin and orange to give a really nice citrus scent.

Once dropped into the water it does start to fizz and give off a foam. At first it goes a red color and then halfway through, the gold starts to appear. This is one of Lush's slower working bath bombs and takes around 10 - 15 minutes to dissolve. Once dissolved, the water turns a nice red color.

I really like the citrus scent too, its really relaxing especially after a long day.

Lush Shoot For The Stars

Shoot For The Stars is one of Lush's bath bombs for Christmas. This one came out last year and I really liked it back then so I was so glad to see it back this year. It's a blue colored bath bomb with a shooting star design on it. It's really awesome to look at as it reminds you of a starry night sky.

This is one of Lush's slower working bath bombs. To dissolve it took around 15 minutes, but before it did, it gave this really awesome show of color. As soon as you drop it into the water it starts to slowly gives out a blue foam with a bit of yellow too. Halfway through, it begins to shoot out pink. It really is an amazing sight to see and I really like how it leaves a shimmer on the water too. Once dissolved it turns the water a dark blue. It's just like looking up at the night sky.

Shoot For The Stars also has the scent of Honey I Washed The Kids which is one my favorite Lush scents.

Words cannot describe how awesome this bath bomb is. I definitely recommend anyone try this one as they will love it. It is part of the Christmas collection, so if you want one I would get one soon.

Lush Butterbear

Butterbear is one of Lush's Christmas bath bombs. It's actually shaped like a bear which I find awesome. I'm pretty sure this one has been available before, but i've never really tried it before now. It contains cocoa butter, ylang ylang and has this really nice vanilla scent when dropped into the bath. Butterbear also has a dusting of cocoa powder on it too.

In the bath this one gives the water a sort of white foam. There are no dramatic color effects with this one, but the scent it gives off is just really nice and relaxing. I like vanilla scented things and this one is fab. The cocoa powder on top goes into the water and spreads out, although it is just for show as it doesn't actually give off a noticeable scent in the water, at least I didn't smell any of it anyway. If you hold the Butterbear up to your nose before putting it in the water, there is a small hint of chocolate.

Luxury Lush Pud

For Christmas Lush releases quite a few bath bombs. Some have reappeared from last year including the Lush Luxury Pud. I just love the look of this one as it is so colorful. It sort of resembles a Christmas pudding while still keeping the shape of a bath bomb. It's a pink and white color with holly on the top. Around the sides are all different colored polka dots too, it looks amazing.

This one works really fast in the water and as soon as you drop it in, the polka dots begin to separate off and float around the water. Bright pink starts to appear along with so many other colors including green, orange, purple and blue. It's quite a dramatic color show and is pretty awesome to watch.

If you have used the Twilight bath bomb, you will notice that the scent of this one is just like it. This one contains Lavender, Tonka and Ylang Ylang.

Lush Cinders Bath Bomb

Cinders is one of Lush's bath bombs that have been released for Christmas. I haven't tried this one before and the description of it just sounded amazing too. Apparently this one is inspired by fireside gatherings. How amazing is that! It also contains popping candy and cinnamon.

While I didn't notice any dramatic effects with the color when it went into the water, you could hear the sound of popping candy which I thought was pretty awesome. It also changes the water a dark yellow color.

This one is really warming and great for these cold dark nights. The cinnamon really helps with aching muscles too. The day I used this, my muscles were aching from being in the gym. This one helped them feel better which I thought was great.

Cinders won't be around for long, so if you want this one, make sure you go get one when the shops re open.

Lush Buche De Noel

Buche De Noel is a limited edition face and body cleanser from Lush. Only available at this time of year, it contains dried cranberries, fresh satsumas and brandy. I've seen it these last few Christmasses but have never really tried it until now.

To use, just grab a small amount and then mix with water to create a paste. Then just apply to the skin. I like to use this one when I clean my face in the morning as it leaves my skin feeling really nice and fresh. It's a similar texture to Lush's Angels On Bare Skin, just a different scent.

My skin is quite dry and this one leaves it feeling nice and soft. I really like the scent too as it makes me feel really nice and Christmassy.

Makeup Revolution Mermaids Forever Palette

I've gotten on really well with Makeup Revolution's palettes and one I had been wanting to try for some time is their 32 color Mermaids Forever palette. This is perfect for people like me who love their color as there is a huge choice of colors in this one. From browns, blues, purples to oranges, silvers and greens. All of the colors have names themed to Mermaids such as Urchin, Ocean, Undersea and Ariel. Unfortunately the names are on one of those plastic inserts, I really don't like it when brands put these in, I much prefer it when the names are actually printed onto the palette. I got this one in Superdrug for £8.00.

For the color lover like me there are so many colors to choose from, which means loads of different looks can be created. I liked to blend the colors together, although they can be worn on their own. There was a good amount of pigment in them and they applied nicely. The texture wasn't too dry either, which was a good thing. Once on, they stayed on all day and didn't crease or fade.

My favorites were the blues, greens and purples. The very light colors made very good highlighters and base colors.

So here are the looks I created with this palette.

Mermaids, Fishtail, Land, Sea, Waves

Myth, Song, Urchin, Princess, Splash, Ocean

Turtle, Undersea

Magic, Pretty, Pink Sea, Whale

Imagine, Harmony, Prince, Whale

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel

Rose Jam is one of those wonderful scents from Lush that only becomes available this time of year. They do a few limited edition scents, Rose Jam being one of them. It's basically this dark pinkish colored shower gel, which by the has this awesome scent of rose. It comes in a few different sizes - 100g, 250g, 500g and 1kg. The 1kg bottle is available only online and at the Oxford Street store.

The other big seller of limited edition shower gels from Lush, has to be Snow Fairy. People literally stock up on the stuff as they love it. It's proven so popular that Snow Fairy also comes in a 1kg bottle.

As soon as you open the bottle you are immediately filled with the scent of rose. It's not too strong that it's overpowering, but definitely strong enough you can smell it right away. It also contains vanilla, argan oil, lemon and goji berry juice. All the scents come together to create one really unique scent. The texture also reminds me a lot of jam too, which I think is pretty cool.

In the shower it lathers up very easily too and a small amount gets you plenty of soap. This is definitely one of my favorite scents for the shower.
