So that is what I want Santa to bring me this year. Have you made out your Christmas wish list yet?

NARS Debauched Eyeshadow

I do love it when the Holiday makeup collections arrive and one collection I simply love is the NARS Man Ray 2017 collection. It's full of amazing colors that I just love to wear. One of my must have products from the collection is the Duo Eyeshadow in Debauched, which is a black violet, smoky charcoal with red shimmer.

As it is limited edition, even the packaging has Man Ray on it. For someone like me who loves dark colors, Debauched is right up my street.

The way I wore this was to first apply a primer. I love to use the NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base and then put a shimmery white over it as a base color. I then applied the dark red all over the lid and then blended the darker color into the outer corners.

The pigment was intense with this eyeshadow and I didn't have to use a lot to get the color to show up. Once on, it stayed on all day too without creasing or fading.

So, if this Holiday season you are looking for gifts for any makeup lover, look no further than the NARS Man Ray collection. I got mine in Selfridges for £25.00.

Illamasqua Lipsticks - Kitsch And ESP

I've been a fan of Illamasqua for quite some time and I've always liked their lipsticks. I was in TK Maxx the other week and noticed that they were selling some lipsticks by Illamasqua. It was a bit like a jumble sale trying to go through everything, but I did see two colors that I really liked - Kitsch and ESP.

Kitsch is from Illamasqua's Glamore collection and is rose pink satin. ESP is described as a vivid violet. I love these sorts of colors for the lips so I was really excited to try them out.

Kitsch had a nice creamy texture with plenty of pigment, meaning I didn't have to keep layering the color on to get it looking intense. It also stayed on for most of the day too.

Even though ESP is an awesome color, I wasn't really fussed on it as it did come off a bit too quick and needed reapplying a lot. It also seemed a bit on the sheer side too.

Out of the two Kitsch was definitely my favorite.

Have you picked up any makeup bargains at TK Maxx.

Urban Decay Vice Lipstick - Twitch

I've been wanting to try Urban Decay's Vice lipsticks for a while after seeing them launch some time ago. The Vice lipstick collection is huge and features every color of lipstick imaginable in various different finishes. I'm loving purple as a color on the lips so I was naturally drawn to this purple colored lipstick called Twitch. It's more accurately described as a soft purple with a blue undertone.

Twitch has this awesome creamy finish to it which applies to the lips like a dream. As my lips are quite dry this one doesn't dry them out at all and looks good on too. It stays on for pretty much all day too, only had to reapply it a bit later on in the day.

This is one of my favorite colors to wear on my lips and I want to try the other Vice lipsticks that Urban Decay has brought out.

Have you tried the Vice lipsticks?

Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Lipstick

Tarte is one of those brands I've always wanted to try but as it's not available in the UK, it's not easy to get. When I was in America last month, I went to Sephora which had a good selection of Tarte products. I really liked the look of the Rainforest Of The Sea lipsticks, so I ended up buying one.

The color I got is a nice pink and comes in this really awesome blue packaging that actually looks like underwater. Which isn't a surprise as it is called Rainforest Of The Sea.

This one has a great amount of pigment to it and has a nice creamy texture. I didn't have to apply layer after layer to get full intense color either.

It looked amazing on and stayed on for most of the day too. It's a shame you can't buy Tarte over here as I would love to try more of their products.

The 12 Days Of Blogmas. Day 1 - A Lush Christmas

Christmas is almost here and on my blog I have decided to do a series of Christmas themed posts called the 12 Days Of Blogmas. I saw other bloggers doing a similar thing last year and I wanted to do the same this year on my blog. So here is day 1 and is all about the Lush Christmas collection.

Lush always bring out a fantastic Christmas collection every year. This year is no different and features loads of amazing limited edition Christmas items and gifts. Some items have made a reappearance such as the very popular Snow Fairy and my favorite bath bomb - Luxury Lush Pud.

So here are all of the amazing themed items.

They also have a fantastic gift selection too. So you are bound to find the perfect gift for someone.

A visit to Lush at Christmas is a must for anyone. Although be warned, you will end up with a basket full of goodies as there is so much to choose from. I want it all!!

Makeup Revolution Retro Matte Lip Kits

Earlier this year Makeup Revolution released their version of liquid lip kits. Recently they brought out some new colors and I decided to go and grab them. The colors I got were - Vampire Night (Deep Red), Bow Down (Light Peach), Majesty (Pink Red) and Magnificent (Teal).

The packaging is really nice and in each kit you get a matching lip liner, this is really good as finding a matching lip liner can sometimes be hard work. The lip liners in these ones are very good as they are very pigmented and have a nice soft creamy feel to them.

The pigment in the lipsticks is good although some colors did need two applications as they were quite sheer. They seemed to dry quickly too which was great. After wearing them all day, they stayed on most of the day and there was no color transfer with eating and drinking either.

The original lip kits from Makeup Revolution did have a sticky feel to them which a lot of people didn't like. The brand then reformulated them to get rid of the stickiness. I do love it when a brand listens to it's customers and improves a product. The only downside to them is that they do feel slightly dry on the lips which is a bit annoying. They weren't too dry to the point of being unwearable, but they were a bit uncomfortable.
