If you love highlighters and that summer glow then I highly recommend Bobbi Brown's Highlight And Glow Shimmer Brick Palette. I noticed this palette when I was at the Bobbi Brown counter the other week. I've also tried the shimmer bricks too and think they are great. It is really nice to find a palette that has three of them in.
The palette is limited edition and contains three different shades - Rose, Copper Diamond and Apricot. Rose is available as a color separately, but the other two are exclusive to this palette.
The pigment and color payoff of these colors is amazing. Each color gives my face this fantastic glow that stays looking great all day. The colors are very blendable and have a nice smooth texture too. I used the colors in Rose as blushers and used Copper Diamond and Apricot as bronzers. The great thing about the shimmer bricks is they don't make you look orange either.
Last week I was invited to a Bobbi Brown bloggers event in John Lewis, Cardiff. The event was all about the Coffee To Cocktails eyeshadow palette which is exclusive to John Lewis. The event was held off the shop floor, upstairs in the coffee shop.
As I arrived at the event I was greeted by the organizers along with some refreshments including a really tasty lemon drizzle cake.
At this event we were shown how to create a day to evening look using the Coffee To Cocktails palette. The look was demonstrated on a model and it really was easy to create a day or evening look. If you love neutrals and browns, this palette will be right up your street. It's exclusive to John Lewis and features 3 eyeshadow colors - cream, brown and dark brown. Along with a small pot of gel eyeliner and a mascara. This is one of those palettes that will suit everyone, and even if you like your eyeshadow very dramatic, you can definitely create a look that stands out with it.
All of us bloggers were also given a goody bag each with some really neat samples in, which I look forward to using.
I really enjoyed the event and seeing how easy it was to create a look with just one eyeshadow palette. Thanks John Lewis and Bobbi Brown.
Hot Berry is a pink lipstick from Bobbi Brown. I love these sorts of colors, which is why when I stopped at the Bobbi Brown counter I decided to get this color. I've tried Bobbi Brown products before, but hadn't really gotten any of their lipsticks.
There is a color to suit everyone as they come in a range of different colors from natural to dramatic.
This one has a really nice creamy feel to it and has plenty of pigment in it. You don't need to use a lot to get the color to show up and once on it gives the lips a really nice pink glow. If you like colors that are nice and bright, this is the color for you.
It stayed on most of the day and only really needed reapplying once. If you have dry lips too, this one is great because it doesn't dry them out.
