Yesterday I had the fantastic opportunity to try out the new Dior Summer Collection. One item I was really liking was their eyeshadow quad in Bain De Mer. I got myself one of these and today i've had great fun wearing the colors.
As this collection is called Milky Dots, it's no surprise that the outer packaging has a polka dot design on it. Unfortunately the actual palette doesn't come with the design too, but I still think it's a great idea. This is just the palette for summer as it is full of nice bright colors - blue, turquoise, pinks and neutrals.
There are many ways to wear this palette and for the person like me who loves something bright, you will be spoilt for choice. Yesterday I tried this palette with pink all over the eye and the blue as a liner on the lower lash line. Today I decided to go full out with the color and wear the pink and blue on the lid.
As usual for Dior this quad is packed with pigment and has a nice soft texture to it. You don't need to use a lot to get the color standing out and blending is really easy too. I wore the neutrals as base colors and applied the pink in the inner corners. I then applied the turquoise next to the pink, built up the blue on top and blended out.
This is the perfect palette for summer and once on the colors stayed put all day and didn't crease or fade once. This does look like a limited edition palette, so if you want one make sure you grab one soon.
