Sleek Glory Palette

Sleek's Glory Palette is a 12 color eyeshadow palette with some really bright colors in it. This palette came out some time ago for the London 2012 Olympics. All of the colors have names and seemed to be themed on the London Underground with names like Victoria, Bakerloo and Piccadilly. I like how the colors actually match the tube, like blue for Victoria and yellow for Circle.

Top - Tube, Overground, Bakerloo, Jubilee, Platform, Northern
Bottom - District, Hammersmith And City, Piccadilly, Circle, Victoria, Central

All of the colors seem to have good pigment and blend together nicely. I used the palest colors in this palette - Tube and Overground as highlighters and bases. I preferred Underground as a base for the other colors and Tube as a highlighter under the brows. I also used Platform as a base color for darker colors. Even though District is green in the palette, it showed up more of a blue in the photo for some reason. For someone who loves color, this palette is great as you can create loads of different looks. Once the colors were on they stayed on all day and didn't crease or fade.

Sleek I Quad - Midnight Blues

Sleek's I Quads are a mini palette with three eyeshadows and a cream eyeliner. I always like Sleek makeup so decided to try these quads. Midnight Blues is a limited edition palette in blue shades. It features 2 eyeshadows and a cream/gel eyeliner. None of the eyeshadows are matte, and all have shimmer in them. The darkest blue is more of a glittery shimmer. The colors all have names in this palette - Dream A Little, Deep Sky, Smoke Lightening and High Octave.

Dream A Little, Deep Sky, Smoke Lightening, High Octave

All of the colors are lovely and dramatic and if you love your blues then this palette is definitely for you. I wore all three eyeshadows together and wore the eyeliner with them. I blended Dream A Little and Big Sky into each other while wearing Smoke Lightening on the lower lash line. All of the eyeshadows had plenty of pigment and gave crease free intense color. While Deep Sky and Smoke Lightening are shimmery, Dream A Little is more glittery. The texture of this one was a bit dry, but wasn't too much it was hard to work with. The other eyeshadows had really nice soft textures to them.

High Octave is the eyeliner, and is a deep blue color. It has a creamy texture to it. I always prefer cream/gel liners to liquid ones as I always find they are easier to use. I did have to apply this twice to get the color to show. Once it was on it was on and didn't need reapplying.

I really like these quads from Sleek as the pigments are fab and you can create a really nice look.

Sleek Curacao Palette

As I like using Sleek eyeshadows I've been searching for some of their palettes that were limited edition or no longer available in stores or on the Sleek website. One of these palettes was the Curacao palette that got released back in 2011. I really like Sleek products, they are not expensive and the quality is great.

The Curacao palette as you can guess from the name is Caribbean themed, the colors are bold and bright, very summery (just like the Caribbean). The packaging is also themed for the collection in bright colors along with a picture of a boat in the water with a palm tree.

This palette was limited edition and is not available in the shops or on the Sleek website. I found this on E bay still new and in it's original packaging. I love my bright colors so this palette was definitely my sort of palette. It features 12 eyeshadows with names such as Blue Lagoon, Singapore Sling and Tequila Sunrise.

This palette had a great choice of bright colors allowing you to create loads of different looks. I loved to blend the colors together. If you prefer to wear them on their own then you can do that as well. All of the colors apart from Screwdriver were well pigmented and blended nicely. The yellow went on a bit patchy. Every single yellow eyeshadow I have seems to go patchy. I love my eyeshadow to be very intense and this palette allowed me to do that.

Blue Hawaiian, Blue Lagoon and Purple Haze

Screwdriver, Tequila Sunrise and Bloody Mary

Apres Midori, Purple Haze, Singapore Sling, Espresso Martini and Green Iguana

The colors didn't crease or fade, once they were on they didn't come off. I loved how intense you can make these colors, you can go as intense as you like. My favorite colors to use in this palette were Blue Hawaiian, Blue Lagoon, Singapore Sling, Purple Haze and Tequila Sunrise.

Sleek Rio Rio Palette

I love Sleek makeup and was really excited when I saw their new limited edition Rio Rio palette in Superdrug. You can guess by the name that this palette is Brazil themed and features 12 bright colored eyeshadows. On the Sleek website it says that the palette is themed to the Rio Carnival. The packaging that came with this palette looks amazing and has loads of different colors on it. I don't normally keep the outer packaging, but I like this one so much I will be keeping it.

This exclusive i-Divine Palette is inspired by the explosion of vibrant exotic colours seen at the Rio Carnival, with bursts of golden yellow, intense fuchsia and metallic green hues.
Each shade is highly pigmented, reflecting the exciting carnival celebrations and everything that is Brazilian! Create shimmering eyes with super-charged shades that pop.
This palette of vibrant colours suits all skin tones and the exclusive packaging captures the flamboyant, exotic carnival costumes.

When I saw this palette I was like I have to get this. I love anything bright and this was no exception. The colors in the Rio Rio palette all have Brazil themed names like Cachaca, Ipanema and Copacabana.

With so many colors to choose from you can create many different looks. I loved to blend the colors together although you can wear them as block colors. All of the colors blend easily and are really pigmented. I didn't have to do much work to build the colors up and they had this really nice soft texture to them.

Heres some of the looks I created with this palette.

Night Fever, Bossa Nova and Leme

Tropics and Night Fever

City Of God, Ipanema and Leblon

Bossa Nova, Urca, Sao Conrado and Copacabana

I had a lot of fun with this palette, my favorite colors to work with were Bossa Nova, City Of God and Night Fever. The colors didn't crease and stayed on all day. This palette was £7.99 and is still available at Superdrug and on the Sleek website. It is limited edition so if you want it, it is a good idea to get it while they still have stock.
