Lush Snow Fairy Gift Set

Snow Fairy has to be one of Lush's most favorite scents. It comes out every year at Christmas as is always a best seller. After all, who doesn't love the amazing sweet scent of bubblegum. For Christmas, Santa brought me the Snow Fairy Gift Set, which came with 4 Snow Fairy goodies - Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Magic Wand Bubble Bar, Snow Fairy Body Conditioner and Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb.

Snow Fairy Jelly Bomb
The Jelly Bomb's from Lush are a fairly new product and are just like bath bombs but actually have jelly inside them. As soon as I dropped it into the water it started fizzing and foaming right away and gave out a very nice scent of Snow Fairy. At first the water went a cloudy grey with pink starting to appear. Halfway through, the pink began to foam out even more and in no time at all pink swirls started to appear in the water. As these do have the jelly in them the bath can be very slippery when getting in and do actually make the water feel like jelly.

Magic Wand Bubble Bar
This one is actually a reusable bubble bar. To use it, I held it under running water and just watched loads of Snow Fairy scented bubbles appear. I didn't have to hold it under for long to get loads of bubbles either, plus it also leaves a shimmer on the water.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel
This must be a Lush best seller as they bring it out every year and it also sells out too. I remember a few years ago they even released a 1L bottle of it. Great for those who love to hoard this stuff. I haven't even finished the bottle of it that I had. The one in this gift set is the small sized bottle, perfect for travel. Nothing beats the scent of Snow Fairy when having a shower.

Snow Fairy Body Conditioner
I'm not quite sure the correct way to use a body conditioner. Some use this in the shower, I prefer to use it as a body lotion as it makes my skin smell just like Snow Fairy.

I just love this gift set and have enjoyed using the products in it. This is perfect for anyone who loves Snow Fairy.

Lush Santa In Space

For Christmas, I got quite a few Lush gift sets and one of them was called Santa In Space. This one is great as the products come in this really awesome tin that you can reuse and put different things in. The artwork on the tin looks great too. It's basically Santa in a space ship. Hence the name - Santa in space.

So you're probably wondering what is in this set. There was Santa Fun, Twilight Shower Gel, Big Bang Bubble Bar, Intergalactic Bath Bomb and Northern Lights Bath Bomb. Some of the products are re releases from last year as well as some old favorites that haven't been seen in quite some time.

Santa Fun
This is exactly what the product is, fun. I've used fun before and it's basically play doh for the bath. You can use it as bubble bath, shampoo, shower gel or soap. This one is called Santa and has all the colors you need to be able to make your own Santa. I had a lot fun making mine and in no time at all he dissapeared into the bath. We will have to wait until he reappears later this year.

Twilight Shower Gel
This product is exclusive to the set, it can't be bought separately any more. I think this one was available as a product on it's own a few years ago but has been discontinued. The Kitchen has been known to bring products back, so if you love this product it is a good idea to keep checking The Kitchen. This one is a really nice dark purple color and has the scent of lavender and sweet tonka.

Big Bang Bubble Bar
This one has reappeared again from last year and is one of my favorites from the Christmas collection. To use just crumble it under running water and let the bubbles appear. This one creates plenty of bubbles and changes the water a really awesome blue color. It has quite a citrus scent to it and also has the bonus of feeling really moisturizing too, thanks to the avocado butter.

Northern Lights Bath Bomb
This one is an old favorite from a few years back and I'm glad Lush have decided to re release it. It's not shaped like a regular bath bomb and is really brightly colored with purple, yellow and blue. When a bath bomb is this colorful to look at, it really does make you wonder what it will look like in the water. As soon as it's dropped into the bath the colors start to appear right away. The purple starts to fizz giving off the awesome color in the water. Blue and yellow then start to fizz away in all different directions. The color show is just amazing, along with the scent of jasmine and ylang ylang.

Intergalactic Bath Bomb
This one like Northern Lights is super colorful. Unlike the other items this one is available all year round and isn't a Christmas bath bomb. I've written about it before on here so I'm not going to go into a lot of detail about it. The color show is just awesome and another bonus is, it actually has popping candy in it that makes the most amazing sound in the bath.

This is just a fantastic gift set from Lush. I've really enjoyed using all of the products in it. Christmas gift sets from Lush are just amazing.

Lush Christmas Candy Box

The Christmas Candy Box from Lush is another fantastic gift set I got for Christmas. As you can guess from the name it's full of Lush goodies with a really sweet scent to them. In this one are Rock Star Soap, Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb and Candy Mountain Bubble Bar. I've used a few of these products before and if you are a fan of the very popular Snow Fairy or love Lush's sweet scented goodies, this gift set will be right up your street.

Rock Star Soap
This is one item from the gift set and probably the only one that is available all year around. It's shaped like a star and has a really nice creamy feel to it when it lathers up. It says on the Lush website that it has a nostalgic scent of seaside rock along with vanilla absolute. I just love the sweet scent of this soap, it really is tempting to eat it.

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
This is one of those old Lush Christmas favorites. I've used this one a couple of times and it literally leaves a mountain of bubbles in the bath. It also has the scent of candy and leaves the water a really nice pink color.

Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb
The Luxury Lush Pud is my all time favorite Christmas bath bomb from Lush. It has come out a couple of Christmasses and every time I always have to get myself a few to stock up on. I've reviewed this one on here before, and every time I use it I have to take a photo because it looks so amazing. Once dropped into the water it makes the most amazing color effects.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel
This Christmas classic is back again this year and features in this gift set. The sweet bubblegum scent is loved by many and is an old Christmas favorite. This one is so popular it appears in other gift sets too. Last year I got the big 1L bottle of it and I still haven't finished it. You can't beat this small bottle of it as it's great to stock up on.

This is a really amazing gift set from Lush and one I have enjoyed using. Did Santa bring you any gift sets from Lush this year?

Goodies From The Lush Kitchen

The Lush Kitchen is a fab way to find long lost items from Lush, as well as exclusives. Lush went and discontinued my favorite shower gel - Grass. I really hate it when a brand discontinues something that is amazing and Grass was unfortunately one of them. When I was told about the Kitchen, I decided to keep checking it every day to see if they had the product I was looking for.

Every Friday, The Kitchen announces next week's products on their Instagram. You couldn't believe my excitement when I found that Grass would be coming back on the Monday. I made it my mission on Monday to get myself some of that green goodness. Products go on sale at 8am each morning and I was up super early to make sure I bought some. It may sound stupid getting ready to buy as soon as 8am arrives, but if you know the Kitchen, you will know that some products sell out super fast.

As soon as I saw Grass was available to buy I added some to my basket. Another product that the Kitchen released then was the Geo Phyzz Bath Bomb. I put one of those in my basket too, you can't beat a bath bomb, especially hard to find ones.

My products arrived yesterday and I've managed to use some of them already. As usual with items from the Kitchen you also get a photo of the person who made the items. Peter made both the bath bomb and shower gel.

Grass Shower Gel
This is the product I have been looking for ages and I was glad that the Kitchen chose to bring this one back. Out of all Lush shower gels this one has to be my favorite. I love outdoor scents, which is probably why I love the scent of Grass. This one really does have the scent of a freshly mowed lawn and is a great scent for summer. As you can expect for Grass, the color is nice and green.

Geo Phyzz Bath Bomb
I couldn't resist grabbing a bath bomb and what's even better is I haven't tried this one before. It may be a new exclusive or one that has been brought back. It's an awesome green color which fizzes quite fast when dropped into the water. After a few seconds the scent appears which is very fresh. It has an outdoor sort of scent that reminds me a bit of pine.

The other ingredient which really stands out to me is this menthol type scent that appears as it fizzes. It's very clearing, especially if you have a blocked up nose.

Theres no color effects in the water with this one and instead it just leaves your bath this green color. Once it has dissolved it also leaves a bit of sea salt in the bottom of your bath. You can either swish it around the water or use it as a scrub. The salt is a bit on the coarse side so I would swish it around a bit as it could get quite uncomfortable stepping on it.

Lush Snowman Shower Jelly

I have been meaning to write about this product ever since I got in in one of my Lush gift sets I got for Christmas. If you are familiar with Lush you will know that they do a range of Shower Jellies and one of their Christmas themed products was the Snowman Shower Jelly.

For those of you who haven't seen a Shower Jelly before you are in for a treat. It's basically jelly for the shower and comes in a range of different colors and scents. I think it's quite a novel idea, having a shower gel in a jelly format. It definitely does take some getting used to and even after using the jellies for a few years now I'm still finding better ways to use them.

There are a few different ways you can store them - freezer, fridge or room temperature. I personally love to store these in the freezer as it gives this awesome cold blast on your skin and it is also the best way of the jelly keeping it's wobbly shape.

My jelly sort of did come apart as I was taking it out of the pot, which was a shame as I wanted to get one whole block of jelly to take in the photo. It wasn't a big deal though as the jelly is still definitely useable. As it is a Snowman jelly, you can probably guess that this one is a white color. We may not have had a white Christmas, but you can definitely have a lot of fun with this Snowman.

If any of you have used the Snowman Fun that came out for Christmas too, you will notice that this jelly has exactly the same scent. It's a really nice citrus one and smells really nice and fresh.

When I first started using these jellies I did think the best way to use them was to break a bit off a use it from there. It's fine to do that, but the only problem I find is it can get quite tricky to break the bit off you want.

I've found it to be much easier to use the product as a whole and use it that way. It still may be slippery to use but you get much better control of it when using it just as one. Jelly and water make very slippery conditions, so hold on to it as best as you can.

As a shower gel it works really well and lathers up easily. After using it I do feel nice and clean which is the important thing.

Lush often bring out limited edition jellies so keep an eye out for the different ones they release. At the moment they have this awesome Easter Bunny one which is actually shaped like a bunny.

Lush Snow Fairy

Snow Fairy must be one of Lush's must have products at Christmas. It's extremely popular and has been for a couple of years now. It gets brought out every year and comes in a number of different gift sets too. I've heard this one is so popular people even stock up on this as you can only get it at Christmas time.

So what is it? Snow Fairy is this pink colored, really awesome shower gel. If you are familiar with Lush you will definitely know the product I am talking about. It has a fantastic sweet smell to it which definitely smells like bubblegum. There is some sweet vanilla mixed in there and to top it all off a bit of fairy dust too.

Up until recently Lush's biggest version of this was 500g. This Christmas, Lush released a 1kg bottle of this stuff. Yep, thats right 1kg. How amazing is that. Perfect for any Snow Fairy fan. Hoarding this stuff is now a thing of the past as 1kg is bound to last way into next Christmas. Plus you don't need to use a lot of it either as it lathers up nicely.

As I love this scent I was really happy with my 1kg bottle I got for Christmas. The scent even stays with you after you have washed too, which I love.

Any Snow Fairy fans here, did Santa bring you any Fairy Dust this year.

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel

Rose Jam is one of those wonderful scents from Lush that only becomes available this time of year. They do a few limited edition scents, Rose Jam being one of them. It's basically this dark pinkish colored shower gel, which by the has this awesome scent of rose. It comes in a few different sizes - 100g, 250g, 500g and 1kg. The 1kg bottle is available only online and at the Oxford Street store.

The other big seller of limited edition shower gels from Lush, has to be Snow Fairy. People literally stock up on the stuff as they love it. It's proven so popular that Snow Fairy also comes in a 1kg bottle.

As soon as you open the bottle you are immediately filled with the scent of rose. It's not too strong that it's overpowering, but definitely strong enough you can smell it right away. It also contains vanilla, argan oil, lemon and goji berry juice. All the scents come together to create one really unique scent. The texture also reminds me a lot of jam too, which I think is pretty cool.

In the shower it lathers up very easily too and a small amount gets you plenty of soap. This is definitely one of my favorite scents for the shower.

Lush Summer 2015 Blogger Goodies

I went to Lush's Summer blogger event in Cardiff last week. The events are always fab and they usually give an amazing goody bag too. In this post I will be reviewing the items that Lush gave me. I had three full size products, which is amazing as some companies usually just give samples. I'm really happy that these ones are proper sized items. I got Salted Coconut Hand Scrub, Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb and Yuzu and Cocoa Shower Creme.

Salted Coconut Hand Scrub
This is my favorite item out of the three. Earlier this year I went to the Lush store in Oxford Street, London and got myself a tub of this. I fell in love with the product right away and i'm glad it's now available in the store in Cardiff. I'm glad Lush gave me a tub of this as you can never have too much of this product. Check out my review here.

Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb
I just love Lush Bath Bombs. They give off the most amazing colors when you drop them into water and the scent is usually awesome too. This gives off a really nice citrus scent and once put into water gives off orange, purple and green colors. Once the water is swished about it goes a really nice orange color.

Yuzu And Cocoa Shower Creme
This is a nice yellow colored shower creme which has this amazing scent of chocolate orange. It smells so good I could eat it and just makes me want to grab some chocolate. As it's a shower creme and not a gel, it has a much more creamier, softer texture to it. It still gives a good bit of lather, while smelling awesome.

All products were supplied free of charge by Lush. All comments are completely independent of the company and are my own personal opinions. Thanks Lush.

Lush Easter and Mother's Day Blogger Event Goodies

On Monday I went to the Lush Easter and Mother's Day Blogger event in their store in Cardiff. At the event they gave us goody bags with three new items in there. We got the Golden Egg, Secret Garden and Yummy Mummy Shower Gel. I enjoyed using these products and i'm now reviewing them.

Golden Egg
This is a limited edition bath bomb for Easter. It's not hard to see why it's called the Golden Egg. It's egg shaped and has a really nice gold look to it. To use, drop it into the bath and wait for the water to change. This bath bomb does take a while to work and doesnt change right away. As you watch it fizz away the water changes to a yellowy color with shimmer. It also has the most amazing scent of honey and toffee. I really liked the shimmer that the Golden Egg gives off, it also leaves your bath a lovely gold color.

Secret Garden
This is a Mother's Day product and has a floral theme to it. It's a green bath bomb with a flower design on it. This bath bomb starts to work as soon as you drop it in the bath and the water starts to go green, but eventually has pink in it too. It has a really nice scent of rose in it and leaves flower petals in the water.

Yummy Mummy Shower Gel
Yummy Mummy is a limited edition shower gel for Mother's Day. It comes in three different sizes - 100g, 250g and 500g. In our goody bags we were given the 100g one. This is a really nice lilac colored shower gel that has a really nice sweet scent to it.

I really enjoyed trying the new products. Thanks Lush.

Marks And Spencer Paddington Bear Suitcase Gift Set

For Christmas, Marks And Spencer released a range of Paddington Bear themed gift sets. I'm guessing they brought them out in time for the release of Paddington's movie (which I recommend, as it was great fun to watch). All of the sets featured Paddington themed bath products.

The one I got was the Suitcase Gift Set. This is a set of two bath fizzers, bubble bath, shower gel and an orange marmalade sponge. How cool. All the products are orange scented, just like marmalade.

It also comes in an actual suitcase. It's not card but a sort of plastic material. It's quite a cool case and can be used to store all different things. I'm using it to store my lipsticks and nail polish in.

Bath Fizzers

Bubble Bath

Shower Gel

All of the products are really nice to use. I really like the orange scent too. It's not overpowering or too citrussy, but more like a sweet orange scent. Even the sponge has the same scent to it which I find quite cool. Overall this is a great gift and one I really like using.
