Lush Christmas Candy Box

The Christmas Candy Box from Lush is another fantastic gift set I got for Christmas. As you can guess from the name it's full of Lush goodies with a really sweet scent to them. In this one are Rock Star Soap, Snow Fairy Shower Gel, Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb and Candy Mountain Bubble Bar. I've used a few of these products before and if you are a fan of the very popular Snow Fairy or love Lush's sweet scented goodies, this gift set will be right up your street.

Rock Star Soap
This is one item from the gift set and probably the only one that is available all year around. It's shaped like a star and has a really nice creamy feel to it when it lathers up. It says on the Lush website that it has a nostalgic scent of seaside rock along with vanilla absolute. I just love the sweet scent of this soap, it really is tempting to eat it.

Candy Mountain Bubble Bar
This is one of those old Lush Christmas favorites. I've used this one a couple of times and it literally leaves a mountain of bubbles in the bath. It also has the scent of candy and leaves the water a really nice pink color.

Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb
The Luxury Lush Pud is my all time favorite Christmas bath bomb from Lush. It has come out a couple of Christmasses and every time I always have to get myself a few to stock up on. I've reviewed this one on here before, and every time I use it I have to take a photo because it looks so amazing. Once dropped into the water it makes the most amazing color effects.

Snow Fairy Shower Gel
This Christmas classic is back again this year and features in this gift set. The sweet bubblegum scent is loved by many and is an old Christmas favorite. This one is so popular it appears in other gift sets too. Last year I got the big 1L bottle of it and I still haven't finished it. You can't beat this small bottle of it as it's great to stock up on.

This is a really amazing gift set from Lush and one I have enjoyed using. Did Santa bring you any gift sets from Lush this year?

Lush Joy To The World Gift Set

This year for Christmas I got some really awesome Lush gifts. Anyone who is familiar with Lush will know that they do a great range of gifts. One of the ones I got is called Joy To The World. Inside it are Santa's Postbox soap and Dream Cream.

Santa's Postbox Soap
This has to be my favorite item from the set as it looks so awesome. It's a soap and it looks just like a postbox, how awesome is that. It also looks nice and festive too with the gold shimmer. This one lathers up nicely and has a really nice citrus scent to it.

Dream Cream
The other item in this set is Dream Cream. This is basically a hand and body lotion for sensitive skin. The texture of this one isn't too rich and does a nice job of moisturizing the skin. Nice and light it doesn't feel at all heavy. I don't have sensitive skin, but this one does a really nice job at moisturizing it. If you have irritated or sore skin I guess this one would do a good job at soothing it. Even though my skin is more dry than sensitive it says on the Lush website that the olive oil and cocoa butter in this one are great for dry or chapped skin. I really like how light and non greasy this one is.

Lush Baked Alaska Soap

It's time for another Lush review and this time it is all about their Baked Alaska Soap. I got this in a Christmas gift set in December and as it is from a set it is unfortunately limited edition. It's quite an amazing looking soap and really colorful. Lush soaps are cut from one huge one, so depending on where the soap is cut you may get a different pattern on each one. Mine was a blue green with some red and green mixed in.

Named after the dessert Baked Alaska, it really does look good enough to eat, although I wouldn't recommend tucking in as it probably doesn't taste very nice. It's got a really nice citrus scent to it and although quite strong, it isn't overpowering but nice and refreshing. Some of the ingredients in this one are lemon myrtle and grapefruit oil. I do hate it when soaps have a nice scent but become too much.

When using this soap I did find that there was a really good amount of lather in it which does leave you feeling nice and clean after having a wash.

Lush Yog Nog Soap

For the Christmas collection Lush brought out a range of different soaps. One of them was called Yog Nog, which also shares it's name with a bath bomb from the same collection. This one is a yellowy brown color and has a sort of star design on it. Described as a creamy skin drink it also has this amazing sweet smell to it.

The closest thing I can think of this soap reminding me of is Honey I Washed The Kids, as that has a similar sweet smell to it. With Yog Nog the scent is actually fudge, which smells awesome. It just makes me wanna grab it and eat it. Other ingredients include soya yogurt and nutmeg.

There is a nice creamy lather with this one too and the scent definitely stands out. It's not too overpowering but is still noticeable. Now unavailable this one was unfortunately limited edition. We will have to see if this one gets released for Christmas 2016.

Bath Time Goodies

The other week when I was in Torquay I went shopping and found this candle store that not only had the most amazing range of candles, but a super cool selection of soaps and other bath products. I picked up a couple of products - soaps and a bath blaster.

First is the Ugly Ducking Bath Blaster. I've seen loads of these products available and Lush do a nice range, although I do like trying other brands. The one I got is by Bomb Cosmetics who sell all this sort of stuff on their website. I thought the Ugly Duckling looked so cute and is far from ugly. It's a white bath blaster with a small yellow duck on the top. I've used this in the bath and it makes my bath fizz up loads and has a nice citrus smell to it.

Next is one of the soaps I bought. It's a super cute mini blue duck. In the bath I did try seeing if it would float on the water but it doesn't. It's still a nice cute soap that has a nice fresh scent to it. It lathers up quite well being as it is so small.

The other two soaps I got have this amazing scent to them. Raspberry Ripple and Sea Breeze. They are those hand cut soaps you can find and look like they will last ages. I don't have a favourite out of the two because they both smell so good. Raspberry Ripple smells so sweet and just like raspberries. Sea Breeze smells so fresh and makes you feel like you are by the sea.

Overall I just love these products. They are great to have in your bathroom and give off the most amazing scent.

Weekend Goodies - Duck and Chocolate Lip Balms and More

Last weekend I went shopping in Totnes and found the cutest ever items for sale. Duck lip balms and this chocolate soap and lip balm set. I found them in this shop that sold beauty and skin care products. They had all sorts of really cool things, including these duck lip balms.

The ducks come come in all sorts of flavours and colours and make your lips feel nice and soft.

Ain't they the cutest things ever.  The duck with the stars is cherry flavoured while the glittery one is strawberry flavoured.

To get the lip balm out you turn the duck upside down and open the bottom to get the product. It doesn't feel too sticky and you don't need to use a lot to make your lips feel nice and soft. I don't have a favourite out of the two as they both are amazing and smell awesome. As these ducks are so good, next time I go to Totnes I might just buy some more. They weren't expensive either and cost around £3 - £4.

From the same shop I also picked up this chocolate lip balm and soap gift set. This cost around £10.00 and I got a good sized bit of chocolate scented soap and these super cool chocolate lip balms.

The soap is called Chocolate Heaven and it actually looks like a bit of chocolate. The smell of it is so good, just like you have a bit of chocolate in front of you.

My favourite part of the gift set has to be the chocolate lip balms. They come in packaging that looks like a box of chocolates. In fact the lip balms do look like chocolates. If I didn't know any better I would think they were.

You get four lip balms that just look good enough to eat. They all come with very suitable names - Mocha Choca, Rose Swirl, Vanilla Fancy and Praline Princess. To get the lip gloss out you just open the bottom and stick your finger in.

Not only do they look good enough to eat, they smell good enough to eat. When I was applying the balm to my lips I could have sworn I was applying chocolate, the smell is absolutely amazing.

Overall I picked up some amazing goodies last weekend and have enjoyed using them.

Which ones are your favourite.
