Huda Beauty Winter Solstice Highlighter Palette

When I saw the Huda Beauty Winter Solstice Collection, I definitely made sure I put the Winter Solstice Highlighter Palette on my list to Santa. On Christmas Day, Santa managed to deliver it which I was very happy about.

The packaging looks amazing and the colors inside look even better. This one has three powder highlighters - Arctic Glow, Northern Lights and Winter Rose. Along with one cream - Frosted Kiss.

The colors look absolutely amazing and I was super excited to try them out. I loved all of the powder colors as the pigment was intense and they had a nice soft texture to them. I wasn't fussed on the cream color - Frosted Kiss as I didn't think it was as good as the other colors.

Once on these looked fantastic and gave my skin this really awesome glow. I didn't have a favorite either as I loved all of the powder colors, although I  did particularly like Arctic Glow.

Huda Beauty Summer Highlighter Palette

Highlighters are my favorite product right now and I really like it when I see different brands bringing out a palette with different highlighter shades. When I was shopping in Harrods I stopped by at the Huda Beauty counter and noticed that they did a highlighter palette.

I have only tried Huda's liquid lipsticks and think they are amazing, so I was expecting their palettes to be great too. They really don't disappoint and there are a few to choose from. I went for the Summer Highlighter Palette which has 4 amazing shades in. The pink purple shade really caught my eye, which is why I went for this palette.

All of the colors in this palette are powders with the exception of Saint Tropez which is a cream. The idea of this is you apply Saint Tropez first and then layer the other shades on top. Although the colors can be worn separately too, either way they look amazing.

Mykonos is the color that really stood out to me, it's this amazing purple color but you do have to be careful applying it. I got a bit too brush happy and applied too much. It's so pigmented it could actually be worn as a blusher color too. With this palette, a little color does go a really long way.

The colors look amazing in the palette and they look amazing on too. I just love it and do want to check out the other palettes Huda does.

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte - Medusa

I'm really loving liquid lipsticks right now and when I see a brand I haven't tried before offering a full range of them I get really excited. One brand I have heard of and seen in Harrods a few times is Huda Beauty. I haven't tried any of their products before and saw that they did a good range of makeup. I was at the Huda counter and decided to try one of the liquid lipsticks.

The color I got is called Medusa which is a dusty mauve color. It also comes with a lip liner that can be bought separately, but I just went for the lipstick. The packaging feels amazing and comes with a doe foot applicator for easy application.

The pigment in it was amazing and it just glided onto my lips and dried fairly quick. I really hate mattes that are really drying. Even though this is a matte color, it didn't feel at all dry and felt comfortable on all day. It didn't really need reapplying either which is a bonus.

Medusa is a great color and can be worn as part of many different looks.

So if you haven't tried Huda Beauty yet, I really recommend the brand. Not only do they have a good choice of liquid lipsticks, but they also have eyeshadow and highlighter too.
