NYX Macaron Lipsticks - Rose and Coconut

I just love the Macaron Lipsticks that are available from NYX. The colors are amazing and the quality is quite good too. I've now managed to complete my collection of them as the other day I grabbed the only two colors I didn't have Rose and Coconut. Rose is a pink colored lipstick while Coconut is white.

The texture of these lipsticks are really nice and creamy, they also have a good amount of pigment in them too. I wore Rose as a regular lipstick color but wore Coconut a bit different. I'm not fussed on white as a lipstick on it's own so i used it as a base color. The best thing about having a white base is it will slightly change the color of the lipstick you put over it. I had a dark red pink lipstick and it changed it to a paler pink which looked awesome.

 The nice creamy formula means it is not drying and will glide onto the lips really nice and smooth. Later on in the day they did need a bit of reapplying but other than that these lipsticks are great. I'm really happy to be able to complete my Macaron Lipstick collection.

    They are nice. I quite the like idea Coconut changed the other one to a different shade of pink! I like the idea of a white lippy though :-D

    Congrats on filling out your collection. I think the idea of wearing the white as a base coat is great, especially if you have some shades that are just a tad too dark for your liking.

    I love the colour with the coconut base - Sadly pink, is not the best colour on me. Thank goodness, nudes are still acceptable!

    I love NYX products! I haven't tried these particular styles out, but love the idea of a base coat for the white shade!

    I would use coconut as a way to create an ombre lip by placing it on top of lipstick dead centre of the lips :) Great post x

    I'm not usually one for a white lipstick but as a base coat it really works so well, and I can't resist anything that has coconut in its name!
