Makeup Revolution seem to be bringing out a lot of new palettes lately and when I was shopping I noticed this one palette jam packed with colors that stand out. In the Carmi Kiss Of Fire Palette you will find a mix of mattes and shimmers in colors such as yellow, orange, black, red, pink, purple, plus a few neutrals as well as a shimmery white. I love these sorts of colors, so I took this palette home with me.
For someone like me who loves bright colors this palette was right up my street. Using many of the colors I was able to create a really colorful look. Pigments in the colors were alright, not the worst, but definitely not on the awesome level you would find with brands like Urban Decay. I did think the black could have done with a lot more pigment as it took a while to build up, even then it came out like a pale black.
Blending was fairly easy although what really annoyed me was the colors did start to crease, even on top of my Urban Decay Shadow Primer. When wearing it under eyeshadows, the colors will rarely crease, even when wearing cheaper eyeshadows. It really was a shame as the colors looked nice and bright on.
I didn't really use any of the neutral colors as I'm really not a neutrals person, much prefer my brights. The shimmery white did make an amazing base and highlight color.
